WEEK 6
In this week’s exploration of poster design, we focus on the fundamental principles of design that are essential for creating visually compelling and effective layouts. These principles include:
- Emphasis: Directing the viewer’s attention to the most important elements.
- Balance & Alignment: Achieving visual stability and coherence through the arrangement of elements.
- Contrast: Enhancing visibility and interest by using opposing elements.
- Repetition: Creating unity and consistency through repeated visual elements.
- Proportion: Establishing relationships between elements to create a harmonious composition.
- Movement: Guiding the viewer’s eye through the design in a deliberate manner.
- White Space: Providing breathing room that enhances focus and readability.
